A pointed amphora form in steam-bent hickory and fiberglass becomes a vessel for the intangible. Memories define and sustain us, but they can also be tricky; changeable, elusive, often confusing, occasionally burdensome. The tall, translucent jar, held aloft among the trees, becomes a willing receptacle for what has become too heavy to carry, yet ought not be left behind.
