A visual journal of the landscape at the artists’ residency I-Park in Connecticut, using natural found materials as a definition of place.
Grass, oak leaves, lichen, maple seed pods, pine needles, moss, milkweed floss, and forsythia petals were gathered and isolated into shadowboxes; then the boxes were returned to their source locations and photographed in situ. The boxes were exhibited along side their photographs.
